Natural Stone Restoration
Natural stone surfaces like marble, granite, limestone, and travertine are timeless and elegant additions to any home or business. However, over time, these surfaces can become dull, scratched, or stained.
Stone Mastery uses a process of bringing back the original beauty and luster of natural stone surfaces through careful and skilled techniques. It involves cleaning, honing, polishing and sealing the stone to repair and enhance its appearance.
One of the main reasons for natural stone restoration is to remove scratches, stains, and etchings that occur over time. These imperfections can make the stone look worn and dull, taking away from the overall aesthetic appeal of the space. Another benefit of natural stone restoration is the ability to fix uneven or unevenly worn surfaces. High traffic areas like hallways or entryways often experience more wear and tear than other areas. Restoring these areas can level out the surface and create a more cohesive and visually pleasing look.
Stone Mastery can restore your stone in 3 different finishes:
Matte Finish - clean, modern, smooth flat look with a faint glow on the stone surface.
Satin Finish - in-between matte and polished look with dimmed light reflection on the stone.
Polished Finish - shiny surface with distinct light reflection and clarity. Highlights and details of the objects are more profound and defined. The overall reflection of details can vary with the stone composition.
Natural Stone Care and Cleaning
We perform regular maintenance or deep cleaning where stone and grout need attention that is beyond ordinary maintenance.
We only use techniques and products that help us achieve the best results possible without damaging the surface we are working on.
We deal with soil buildup such as food, mold and mildew, mineral deposits, and soap scum.
Stone and Grout Protection and Color Sealing
Grout sealing is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of natural stone and grout maintenance.
Why Seal Your Grout?
Prevents Stains and Discoloration: Grout can easily stain from spills, food, or cleaning agents. Sealing helps to prevent these stains from setting in, keeping your grout looking clean and fresh.
Reduces Mold and Mildew: Moisture that seeps into unsealed grout can create a breeding ground for mold and mildew. Sealing the grout helps to block moisture and reduce the risk of these unwanted growths.
Extends the Lifespan of Grout: By protecting against moisture and stains, sealing helps to maintain the integrity of the grout. This can save you from costly repairs and replacements in the future.
Color Sealing is ideal on surfaces where grout is still in great condition, but is discolored from permanent staining.
We use a unique, premium, waterproof color sealer that is truly oil resistant, and won’t break down after coming in contact with various oil based, general dirt or household cleaning products.
